Sophisticated, friendly, and balanced describes my approach to branding and information design. With a BFA in graphic design from the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas, I minored in literature and life sciences. I've worked in advertising and design markets in Dallas and the Midwest, and I currently live in Raleigh, North Carolina, working remotely with many of my clients.
Early in my career I created marketing materials for The Upjohn Company (Pharmacia/Pfizer) where, in addition to “big picture” thinking, detail and precision were required. I directed product photo shoots and designed literature for Landscape Forms (innovators of high-design site furniture) which helped develop my appreciation for beautiful product design.
I’ve worked with the Fetzer Institute for over 20 years, responding with sensitivity to their needs as a non-profit institution. For the past five years, I've been tapping into my love of good food and cooking to design and produce food magazines in collaboration with a creative marketing group in Michigan.
I love to learn. With a strong ability to identify and analyze information, I enjoy working on projects that present design challenges, that encourage expansive thinking and innovative problem-solving. My goal is to successfully collaborate with creative thinkers across all media channels in order to create meaningful human experiences as they relate to the mindful promotion of products and services.
